What we have shipped

Every line below is a real merge, with the date it landed and the pull request that did it. We are a new company and cannot show you a client list, so this is the proof we do have.

53 notable changes since 23 Apr 2026. Dependency updates and internal refactors are left out.

September 2026

  • A glossary, and machines can now read what we sell

    16 SeptEveryone

A new glossary page defines the words this site uses, from the Anvil Stamp to the difference between an apprentice and a client. The structured data now describes the apprenticeship and its prices rather than only the company publishing the page. Two contradictions went with it: the how-it-works page promised a certificate we do not issue, and the page written for companies called the apprentice a client five times.

    #227
  • Answers that were invisible to search engines are now readable

    16 SeptEveryone

The answers on the pricing page existed only once you clicked them open, so no search engine could read what a refund covers or which cards we take. They are in the page now. The home page was also telling search engines its address was somewhere else, the mentor pages had lost their navigation entirely, and the changelog linked to a repository nobody can open. All fixed.

    #226
  • Search engines and answer engines get told what changed

    14 SeptEveryone

The sitemap now dates pages by when something actually shipped instead of by the last deploy, Bing and the other IndexNow engines are notified after every merge, and a plain-text llms.txt gives AI answer engines the site's facts, including what we do not publish. A security.txt says where to report a vulnerability.

    #225
  • Home page no longer re-renders itself on arrival

    14 SeptEveryone

The navigation marked the current page in a way the server and the browser disagreed about on the home page, so the browser threw the server-rendered page away and rebuilt it on every visit. The current-page marker now appears a frame after the page loads, and the page you receive is the page you keep.

    #224
  • Error monitoring loads after the page, not before it

    14 SeptEveryone

The error-monitoring SDK was the largest script evaluated before the home page could become interactive. On marketing pages it now loads once the page is idle, with anything that fails in the meantime held and reported the moment it is ready. Signed-in areas keep loading it immediately.

    #223
  • The marketing pages stop downloading the dashboard's tooling

    14 SeptEveryone

Session Replay and the realtime messaging client now load only inside the signed-in dashboards, unused 3D code is gone, the hero images are a third lighter, and the home page's first image is fetched at high priority. The home page paints its cover several times sooner on a phone.

    #222
  • Eight new Forge Log issues, with photographs

    14 SeptEveryone

The log grows from one issue to nine: how to get a junior job with no experience, what a real code review looks like, the internal tools companies keep not building, what a solution architecture package contains, how to write a CV that names a shipped project, why senior engineers should be paid to mentor, what the Anvil Stamp is, and the interview questions shipped work invites. Each issue now opens with a photograph.

    #221
  • Search engines now get the right page titles, one URL per page and structured data

    14 SeptEveryone

Every marketing page has a canonical URL and a title that says what the page is for, the apply pages and the team page no longer borrow the home page description, the untranslated Macedonian and Albanian URLs redirect to the English pages, log posts and breadcrumbs carry structured data, and a mentor profile only appears in search once it has a real bio.

    #220
  • The email template editor catches broken placeholders as you type

    6 SeptOperations

Editing a transactional email now flags any placeholder the backend does not supply for that template (which would show up literally in the inbox), lists unused variables, and warns on em-dashes and stray MKD wording.

    #215
  • See your mentoring and review credits in one place

    6 SeptApprentices

Billing now shows what is included with each assignment, which completed sessions drew from it or used a purchased extra, and the top-ups you bought.

    #214
  • Every payment now has a printable receipt

    6 SeptApprentices

Each row in your payment history opens a receipt you can print or save as PDF, showing the amount, currency, status and references, issued under the registered company details.

    #213
  • Spin up a project straight from an accepted company application

    6 SeptOperations

Accepted company applications now offer a Create project action that opens the project form pre-filled with the company name, title, description, tech stack and tier, and links the new project back to the application.

    #212
  • Mentors can see how apprentices rated a session, and export their reviews

    6 SeptMentors

A completed session now shows the apprentice's rating and feedback from the mentor's side, kept separate from code-review ratings. The Feedback page can export those code-review reviews to CSV.

    #211
  • Confirm a payment and place an apprentice without leaving Work Queues

    6 SeptOperations

The awaiting-payment and paid, unplaced queues now open in place to list the actual applications, each with the one action it needs. Confirming a payment or creating an assignment was previously only possible on the backend.

    #210
  • See and dispute a mentor's recorded session time before it counts

    6 SeptApprentices

When a mentor records the start and end of a support session, you now see exactly what they logged and how it is counted against your included hours, with a window to dispute it before it is finalised. Mentors submit that proof from their own queue.

    #208
  • You can cancel your own mentorship session

    6 SeptApprentices

The mentor could always cancel a session; the apprentice who booked it could not, and had to message the mentor and wait. Now every upcoming session has a Cancel action that takes an optional reason, which the mentor sees.

    #206
  • Contact messages go through the platform, not a second mail service

    6 SeptEveryone

An enquiry now travels the same path as a company application. One less place holding a credential, and one less sender identity to keep out of spam folders.

    #196
  • The company details search engines see now match the ones on the page

    6 SeptEveryone

Structured data for the organisation and the FAQ, built from the same constants the footer renders. The footer was also showing two different versions of the registered company name; now it shows one.

    #195
  • Messages tell you when the live connection has dropped

    6 SeptEveryone

The realtime link used to give up quietly after about thirty seconds, and new messages simply stopped arriving. It now says so, and offers to reconnect.

    #194
  • Shared links get their own preview image

    6 SeptEveryone

A Forge Log issue and an Anvil Stamp each generate a card naming what they are, instead of every link on the site sharing one generic image.

    #193
  • Code review feedback renders properly, and drafts stay with their review

    6 SeptEveryone

Formatting in mentor feedback now displays instead of arriving as raw asterisks, there is a preview before sending, and a draft written for one review can no longer follow you into another.

    #192
  • This changelog

    6 SeptEveryone

The footer had claimed the site was built in the open with nothing to click. Now there is a dated list with a link to every merge behind it.

    #191
  • Project sizes shown before the form, not inside it

    6 SeptCompanies

How big a project can be, and roughly how long it takes, is answered on the For Companies page rather than in step two of an application most people never reach.

    #190
  • My Projects shows your own projects

    6 SeptApprentices

The tab was listing every active project on the platform rather than the ones you are placed on. It now shows your assignments, with the role you hold, the credits left and your board link.

    #189
  • Report a problem, and community guidelines

    6 SeptEveryone

You can now report a person or a session to a moderator from the dashboard, and there is a written standard at /guidelines to report against.

    #188
  • Cookie preferences can be changed after the fact

    6 SeptEveryone

The footer carries a Cookie preferences control, so a choice made once can be withdrawn. The advertising pixel no longer runs on preview deployments.

    #187
  • Mentor earnings and rating on the pages you work from

    6 SeptMentors

The sessions page showed a placeholder where this month's earnings should be, and the overview showed no rating at all. Both now read the real figures.

    #186
  • The forge hero loads one clip instead of five

    6 SeptEveryone

Entering the hero used to start roughly 19 MB of video at once. Each clip is now fetched only as you approach it.

    #185
  • A failed page no longer takes the whole dashboard with it

    6 SeptEveryone

Each dashboard keeps its sidebar and navigation when something inside it fails, and admin pages now check the role for that specific page rather than the section.

    #184
  • The contact form actually sends

    6 SeptEveryone

It had no submit handler, so every message sent through it was discarded. Messages now reach us, and the form falls back to your mail client if delivery is unconfigured.

    #183
  • Three doors on the home page

    6 SeptEveryone

Apprentices, companies and mentors each get a route from the first screen, and Get Started offers all three instead of assuming you want to sign up as an apprentice.

    #182
  • Message buttons that open the right conversation

    6 SeptEveryone

The Message link on a mentee card opened an inbox with no thread selected. It now opens the conversation with that person, and a waitlist you joined can be left again.

    #181
  • Page titles and search listings cleaned up

    6 SeptEveryone

Every page title was rendering the brand name twice. Sign-in and payment pages are no longer offered to search engines.

    #180
  • The public counters count what actually happened

    6 SeptEveryone

The numbers on the home page were held above a minimum. They now show real figures plus a stated baseline of work delivered before the platform existed, and every claim we could not evidence was removed from the site.

    #179
  • Pricing rebuilt as three material billets

    5 SeptApprentices

The tiers are told apart by their material rather than by a badge, and every card lines up on one price baseline with its button at the same height.

    #178
  • How It Works became a heat rail

    5 SeptEveryone

The section is driven by scroll: each station lights as you reach it and cools as you scroll back.

    #177

August 2026

  • Reveal animations that could never fire

    30 AugEveryone

Several sections animated from a hidden state the browser measured as having no area, so they never appeared. Detection moved to their containers.

    #176

July 2026

  • A molten track behind How It Works

    27 JulEveryone

The steps sit along a forged path that draws itself as you scroll.

    #173
  • A branded loader on the payment result page

    25 JulApprentices

Waiting for a card payment to confirm shows a molten ring rather than a bare spinner.

    #170
  • Payment pages name the real acquirer

    12 JulEveryone

Checkout copy says NestPay and Halk Bank, and the mentor seat fee is disclosed up front.

    #168
  • Mentors can pay their seat fee by card

    12 JulMentors

A billing page for the monthly seat fee, and the mentor application asks for country.

    #164
  • Cookie consent gates the advertising pixel

    11 JulEveryone

Nothing non-essential loads until you accept. Declining is a real choice, not a dismissal.

    #162
  • Your Jira board, linked from the dashboard

    9 JulApprentices

Once a project is provisioned, the board and your username appear where you work.

    #158
  • The site became the demonstration

    7 JulEveryone

The landing page stopped describing the craft and started showing it: a live ember playground, a self-reviewing diff, and an annotated dissection of the page's own headings.

    #153
  • Card payments went live

    6 JulApprentices

Checkout runs through Halk Bank with 3-D Secure. Prices are set in euro and settled in denar.

    #152

June 2026

  • Registered company details published

    17 JunEveryone

The legal entity appears in the footer and on the legal pages.

    #149
  • We stopped claiming every pull request gets reviewed

    17 JunApprentices

Code reviews are allocated per tier, and the copy now says so rather than implying they are unlimited.

    #147
  • A published refund policy

    16 JunEveryone

The refund terms live at /refund rather than inside the Terms.

    #145
  • Sessions can be rated by both sides

    14 JunEveryone

An apprentice rates the mentor and the mentor rates the apprentice, so reputation is not one-directional.

    #144
  • An operations board for stuck work

    14 JunOperations

Admin work queues surface what is waiting, with delegated operator roles.

    #141
  • Security hardening across the front end

    13 JunEveryone

Cross-site scripting guards, an enforced content security policy, and the removal of a legacy sign-in shim.

    #139
  • Dependency advisories cleared

    13 JunEveryone

Framework and transitive dependencies updated: 29 advisories to none.

    #138

April 2026

  • The forge aesthetic arrives

    23 AprEveryone

The first redesign work: sign-in and sign-up rebuilt around the forge. This is where the public history of this repository starts.
