Blacksmith.Works is a platform that connects junior developers and students with real-world projects from companies. We provide mentorship, code reviews, and hands-on experience to help bridge the gap between learning and professional development.

When you sign up and complete your profile, you can browse available projects and apply for roles that match your skills. Our admin team reviews applications and matches you with suitable projects based on your experience level and learning goals.

Each project includes a solution architecture package, Jira board setup with your own account, code reviews, and dedicated mentoring hours. The exact amount depends on your chosen tier.

Apply through our mentor application page. We look for developers with 5+ years of professional experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for teaching. Every applicant goes through a real interview, not just a form. After review, approved mentors receive access to the mentor dashboard.

Mentors earn €50 per hour for mentoring sessions and €25 per code review. Payments are processed monthly based on verified sessions.
